AlphaSense raised $225 million series D co-led by Goldman Sachs and Viking Global Investors.
AlphaSense, a Helsinki, Finland and San Francisco, USA-based company providing software services for the financial industry, raised $225 million series D round.
The money includes includes an undisclosed amount of debt commitment from BlackRock with the equity raised from investors co-led by Goldman Sachs and Viking Global.
AlphaSense, founded in 2008 and led by CEO Jaakko Kokko, built a search engine tailored to the needs of enterprises to gather market intelligence around specific trends and industries. The company works with more than 3500 clients, mostly investment banks and related financial services companies, including Goldman and Morgan Stanley.
Prior to this round, AlphaSense raised around $265 million, with a last round announced in 2021, and closed at $180 million.
