Ankorstore secures €6M from GFC, Aglae and Alven

Ankorstore, a Paris, France-based startup building a B2B marketplace that connects brands and designers, announced that it secured a funding round of €6M ($6.7M).

The money was raised from investors including GFC, Aglae Ventures and Alven Capital.

Proceeds will be used to build a business around the company's platform.

Ankorstore, founded in 2019 by Mathieu Alengrin (CEO), Nicolas Cohen, Nicolas d'Audiffret and Pierre Louis Lacoste, just launched a platform that aims to facilitate brands to sell through local businesses, and retailers to sell products that cannot usually be found on major e-commerce sites or via large retail chains.

The company, supported by 10 employees, has onboarded about 1000 retailers and more than 300 brands mainly from France. Ankorstore aims to expand throughout Europe in the next development stage
