AppSens in a NOK 20 million investment round backed by angel investors from Norway.
AppSens, an Lillesand, Norway-based medical device developer, secured a capital funding round totalling NOK 20 million ($2.4M).
The money was raised from local investors from Norway, including angels Thomas Ramdahl, Harald Moræus-Hanssen, doctor Erik Bendvold and Axel Bendvold, head of the real estate department at Fearnly Securities. The deal was made at a post money valuation of NOK 111 million.
AppSens, founded in 2017 by CEO Tord Ytterdahl, is developing wireless medical sensors and devices for the mobile patient. The product, called ECG247, provides an easy, affordable and effective way to detect atrial fibrillation.
