Apres raises $1.5 million in a seed round led by venture capital companies Faber and Adara Ventures.

Apres, a Lisbon, Portugal and San Francisco, USA-based software startup, announced that it completed a $1.5 million funding round.

The money was raised from investors including Adara Ventures, Faber, Techstars and angel investors whose name was not disclosed.

Apres, founded in 2018 by CEO Matt Waite, developed an AI-based solution called “ Explainable AI ” and which essentially aims to translate the behavior of AI into a language understandable to everyone, reduce error, reduce costs through automation of reports and include ethics. The tool contextualizes each slice of data and decision model in relation to business objectives so that people can provide feedback and make the results available on request, through a web application, flexible API and integrations.
