Auk announced a $220k investment round from StartupLab and angel investors.
Auk, an Oslo, Norway-based startup working on a tech for making it easy to grow plants indoors, all year round, completed a pre-seed capital round totalling NOK 2M ($220k).
The funding was backed by StartupLab Founders, which has incubated the company since 2018, and a number of Norwegian angel investors.
Auk was founded in 2018 by Marius Aabel with the aim to create a tech that automatically provides plants the right amount of light, water and nutrition, all year round, with minimal human input. The company has a working prototype and expects to go to market in 2020.
