Auntie to raise €10 million in a round led by Verdane Capital.
Auntie, a Helsinki, Finland-based-based B2B psychological consulting company, announced completing a €10 million ($11.3M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Norwegian Verdane Capital and will be used for internationalisation.
Auntie, founded in 2015 by CEO Mervi Lamminen, is a specialized psychological consulting company providing clients with low threshold prevention solutions for psychological issues and therapy services to corporate employees. The concept, available in 20 languages, includes Lost in Transition, Love Boat Sinking, and Sleepless in Seattle, making it very flexible and scalable for different organizations. The customers are using preventative help for issues that threaten mental well-being and combines personal psychological support with digital solutions. Thanks to the company’s digital tools, the effectiveness of its services can be monitored and measured.
Auntie says it works with 300 customers and produced a turnover of €1.2 million ($1.4M) and an operating profit of €130,000 in 2020.
