Aviant raises NOK 6.2 million in grants and equity.

Aviant, a Trondheim, Norway-based drone service provider, announced that it secured a NOK 6.2 million ($740k) funding round.

The money is a combination of grants provided by Innovasjon Norge and NOK 3.5 million ($420k) in equity raised from local private investors.

Aviant, founded in 2020 by a group of students led by CEO Lars Erik Fagernæs, delivers a full-stack drone service that enables autonomous and on-demand transport of cargo between medical facilities and hospitals. Customers include three hospitals, one in Norway and two in Sweden.
