Beleco in a SEK 20 million funding round backed by Alfvén & Didrikson.

Beleco, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a marketplace for rental of furniture, announced a SEK 20 million ($2.2M) capital raising round.

The money was raised locally from Sweden from investors including Alfvén & Didrikson, Veq and Almi Invest. The company says it want to use the money for Nordic expansion.

Beleco, founded in 2016 by Marie Rudenstam, CEO Sebastian Rudenstam and Pontus Gustafsson, built a digital marketplace where furniture manufacturers rent new and used design furniture, mainly to companies but also to private individuals. The company has around 400 corporate customers in Sweden, including Kry, Budbee and Pleo, producing sales of SEK 9 million (almost $1 million) and is yet to be profitable.

Beleco previously raised funding in 2020, 2019 and 2018.
