Besedo in a SEK 45 million deal backed by Spiltan and NEA Partners.

Besedo, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing an online content moderation service platform, announced the completion of a SEK 45 million ($5M) capital fundraising deal.

The money was raised locally from investors from Sweden, including Spiltan and NEA Invest.

Besedo, founded in 2004 and led by CEO Petter Nylander and COO Willem de Geer, works with customers including Adevinta, Schibsted, Ebay, Match.com and BlaBlaCar. It has 400 employees in seven offices in Sweden, Malta, France, Germany, Romania, Colombia and Malaysia, and is yet to become profitable, at expected sales of SEK 122 million ($13.5M) in 2021.

Besedo previously raised $2M in 2020.
