BKI to acquire Copenhagen-based Kontra Coffee

BKI, an Aarhus, Denmark-based coffee supplier, announced that it acquired its smaller competitor, based in Copenhagen, Kontra Kafe.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made for all the shares in the company. Prior to this deal, BKI owned 49% of the equity shares.

Kontra Coffee, led by CEO Poul Zacho, delivers coffee especially to Copenhagen and North Zealand andhad a 2018 turnover of around DKK 50 million.
