Bloom & Wild raised £75 million in series D funding led by General Catalyst.
Bloom & Wild, a London, UK-based retailer of flowers, announced completing a £75 million ($102M) series D capital investment round.
The money was raised from investors led by General Catalyst.with participation from Index Ventures, Novator, Latitude Ventures, D4 Ventures and existing backers such as Burda Principal Investments.
Money will be used for expansion, and broadening and enhancing its range of products and services to better serve customers’ needs and build shopping missions outside the traditional flower industry peaks.
Bloom & Wild, founded in 2013 by Aron Gelbard (CEO) and Ben Stanway, is a pan-European provider of flower and gift delivery. The company is active in five European countries and operates both online and via bricks and mortar retail mostly in the UK, where it stroke a retail partnership with Sainsbury’s.
