Carbon Farmed announced getting funded by Atlantic Food Labs

Carbon Farmed, a Berlin, Germany-based carbon farming startup, announced that it secured pre-seed capital funding.

The money was raised from German investors, including Atlantic Food Labs.

Carbon Farmed, founded in 2020 by CEO Robert Gerlach and Nina Mannheimer, aims to develop and produce a portfolio of food products based on carbon farming which are carbon negative.

This means that with each food product produced will help reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Carbon farming refers to a range of different agricultural methods and its application is not limited to specific crops or plants alone. It is considered to be one of the most effective solutions to the climate crisis.
