Cardia secured $200k in angel investment to get the business to the next level.

Cardia, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup operating a mobile marketplace for used cars, announced the completion of SEK 2M ($200k) in capital investment.

The round included backing from the development agency Levels and angel investors Nils Idoff, Simon Josefsson and Anders Bergqvist. Simon Josefsson and Anders Bergqvist will also join the company's board of directors.

The money will be used to scale up sales in 30 new cities in Sweden and improve the product.

Cardia, founded in 2018 Anni Mowlid, Thomas Abraham and Alexander Gorobets, built a mobile application that automates, simplifies and quality assures car transactions between private individuals. Through the application, users can obtain guarantee, financing and a documented quality control of the car when purchasing from another private person.
