Care to Translate, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing a digital healthcare consultant, announced that it secured SEK 3.75M ($410k) in capital investment.

The money was provided by a range of Swedish angel investors, including Simon Josefsson, Per Båtelson, Josefin Landgård, Boel Rydenå and Sophia Bendz. Funding will be used to grow the company operations.

Care to Translate, founded in 2018 by CEO Linus Kullänger, Annie Backman and Martin Schalling, developed a mobile solution aimed to provide medical translations for healthcare professionals. The app, which works in 21 different languages and has 22000 users, claims to provide medically correct translations, as opposed to other general translation tools, such as Google Translate.

In the fall of 2018, Care to Translate was part of STING's accelerator.
