Cellcolabs secured SEK 64 million from Norrsken VC and angel investors from Sweden.
Cellcolabs, a Stockholm, Sweden-based biotech startup, announced raising a new capital round closed at SEK 64 million ($6.6 million).
The money was raised from investors from Sweden led by Norrsken VC and joined by angel investors Fredrik Jung-Abbou and Johannes Schildt (both Kry founders), Filip Engelbert and Jonas Nordlander (both Avito founders), Fredrik Hjelm (Voi), John Hedberg and Sven Hagströmer (both Creades), Susanna Campbell, Michaëla Berglund and Ash Pournouri.
Cellcolabs, founded in 2021 by CEO Mattias Bernow as a spinoff from Swedish biotech company Takura, is specializing in industrial GMP production of high quality stem cells (mesenchymal stromal cells) in order to make them available at scale.
