CereGate, a Munich, German-based software developer, announced that it completed a capital investment round.

The funding was provided by a range of investors from Germany, including Heal Capital, High-Tech-Gründerfonds (HTGF) and TruVenturo.

CereGate, founded in 2019 by Balint Varkuti, develops software-based solutions for computer-brain interfaces. The software solution augments the programming of such neuromodulation systems for patients enabling completely novel forms of therapy, e.g. specifically suited to combat gait problems in Parkinson’s disease.

Prior to this round, in early 2020, Ceregate raised an undisclosed amount of financing from High-Tech Gründerfonds.
