Chipi to get financing from Mutua Madrileña
World Wide Mobility, a Madrid, Spain-based software developer managing Chipi, a mobile transportation aggregator, announced getting into an investment agreement for adding Mutua Madrileña as investors in the company.
The deal was made for an equity stake of 10% and has other related financial details undisclosed.
World Wide Mobility started developing technology for Chipi app in 2016, which is led by CEO Emilio Mellado. The app integrates more than 30 mobility providers and compares in real time the price and waiting time of the different mobility options (shared cars, motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, subway, bus ...). The application is available for more than 110 suppliers in 15 cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia and Zaragoza in Spain; Lisbon, Paris, Milan, Rome and New York outside Spain.
The Chipi's board is led by Ignacio Garralda and other investors include Sevenzonic Ventures, Julián Recuenco, Fernando Mesones, and Nacho de Pinedo.
