Ciao Ciao CarSharing received funded by Chalmers Ventures

Ciao Ciao CarSharing, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based startup providing a car sharing service, announced in a press release that it raised a capital investment round.

Backers include Chalmers Ventures, as the company was part of Chalmer's startup accelerator.

Ciao Ciao CarSharing, founded in 2018 by Carl Törnström (CEO), Alexander Svedulf, Mattias Alnervik, Peter Elmered and Marcus Thorelius, built what they call an Airbnb for cars - specifically a mobile app allowing access to private cars available for rent.

At present, the company runs a test pilot in Hisingen (Gothenburg), with about 700 cars registered in the app.
