Cirrus Insight buys Stockholm-based Attach.io.

Attach.io, a Stockholm, Sweden based SAAS developer for tracking sales leads announced that it had been acquired by Cirrus Insight, an Irvine, California-based company providing sales productivity solutions.

Cirrus added Attach to its platform of productivity apps in a transaction which has the financial details undisclosed.

Attach.io, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Ryan Gum, developed a tool for salespeople to track how their leads engage and what happens once they have shared a document. The product is ideal for people relying on communicating through email attachments.

Prior to being bought, Attach.io raised less than $1M in private capital from investors including Boris Nordenström, Expon Capital, Lars-Henrik Friis Molin, MOOR Capital and Recapex, which now exit the company.

In 2016, Attach recorded SEK 769k ($90k) in sales - the company was also based in US, with an office in San Francisco.

Cirrus Insight, founded in 2011 by Brandon Bruce and Ryan Huff, developed a sales productivity platform, bringing email tracking, meeting scheduling, follow-up alerts, and drip campaigns into a user’s inbox.
