Cling Systems to raise SEK 21 million in a seed round led by Trucks VC and First Venture.

Cling Systems, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building a b2b marketplace platform that allows responsible reuse and recycling electric batteries at scale, announced the completion of a SEK 21 million ($2.3M) capital fundraising round.

The money was raised from investors led by Trucks VC and First Venture, and joined by angels Voyagers Climate Tech fund, Walter&Johanna (polarbröd), Assartorps Säteri, Friedrich A. Neuman, Sven Heiligtag and Einar Bodström.

Cling Systems, founded in 2020 by CEO William Bergh, Gunnar Magnusson and Axel Sundberg, is working for the development of a b2b car battery marketplace aimed at car assemblers in the Nordic region and remanufacturers across Europe.
