Conexus, a Drammen, Norway-based company providing digital learning platforms for schools, announced getting into a n investment agreement for getting Verdane as new investors in the company.

In the transaction, Verdane acquires Ströer Venture GmbH’s shares and shares from other owners, resulting in an ownership of around 80%. Further financial details were not disclosed.

Conexus, founded in 2001 and led by CEO Steinar Evensen, is a provider of digital learning platforms for the Norwegian school sector, used by thousands of schools and more than one million students worldwide.

The company’s solutions facilitate deeper learning among students, making it easier for them to gradually and over time develop their understanding of concepts and contexts within a subject, in addition to facilitating improved learning dialogues between teachers, students and parents. In November 2018, the company secured two contracts in Singapore. One with Civil Service College, responsible for post-qualifying education of more than 140.000 civil servants, and one with the Ministry of Education for deployment of Conexus’ solution to upskill all the teachers in Singapore.
