Connectd raised $1.6 million in funding from angel investors.

Connectd, a London, UK-based startup building a marketplace connecting investors with startups looking for funding, raised $1.6 million in a fresh capital equity raise.

The money was raised from angel investors including Rob Wilmot, founding executive of Freeserve; Jonas Anker, CEO of Anker Capital; Gareth Hawkins; serial entrepreneur brothers Aleks Subosic and Dejan Subosic of Deep North and Steve Scruton, former head of Equity Research at HSBC.

Connectd, founded in 2020 by Roei Samuel and Sam Luckett, developed a SAAS sold on subscription basis to startups looking for funding and aiming to connect with investors.

Prior to this round raised $1 million from investors including Nigel Wray, with LiFE Ventures, Toni Nijm of Yobi Partners, and Steve Castle of ABC Investors participating.
