Dalma announced raising €2M from Global Founders Capital, Frst and Kima Ventures.
Dalma, a Paris, France-based provider of insurance products covering pets healthcare, announced the completion of a €2M ($2.4M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors from France, including Global Founders Capital, Frst and Kima Ventures.
Dalma, founded in 2021 by CEO Alban de Préville and Raphaël Sadaka, sells insurance for pet healthcare against a yearly subscription. The company offers transparent, subscription-based health insurance that covers pets, reimbursing costs related to illnesses, injuries, and preventive care.
Dalma is available in France, as it says that in the local market only 6% of dogs and cats are insured compared to 40% in the United Kingdom and 80% in Sweden.
