Decentriq, a Zurich, Switzerland developer of software infrastructure for confidential machine learning and analytics, announced the completion of a $3.8M capital investment round.

The money was raised from investors led by btov Partners, and included contributions from Paladin Capital Group and existing investor Atlantic Labs.

Proceeds will be used for international growth and bringing in more customers.

Decentriq, founded in 2018 by Maximilian Groth (CEO) and Stefan Deml (CTO), developed a SAAS that minimizes the time and cost for enterprises to establish and maintain sensitive data ecosystems, e.g. when two entities want to share data. With Decentriq’s product, the only place where an analytics or ML model from company A and confidential data from company B meet unencrypted is on the very CPU chip where the model is executed.
