Dintårta.se was acquired by Dr Oetker

Dintårta.se, a Stockholm, Sweden-based onlne food business, announced that it was acquired by the German multinational Erste Oetker Beteiligungs (Dr Oetker).

The deal was made for 100% of the shares and has other financial details undisclosed. Prior to the transaction, Dr Oetker owned 49% of the company. The two founders of Dintårta.se, Henrik Svensson (CEO) and Alexander Weinzetl, will remain in the business and will continue to run it further.

Dintårta.se was founded in 2006 and sell cakes with food print in five countries: Sweden, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Poland.
