The money was raised from investors from France including LeadBlock Partners, Alsace Business Angels, Finck Ventures and BPI France.

Direct Market, founded in 2018 by CEO Sébastien Pelka and Marc Dorel, developed a B2B marketplace which connects producers and traders for agricultural produce, offering farmers, cooperatives and other food workers to list their articles on its site. On the other side, the company partners with large retailers and wholesellers looking to buy, including 30 Intermarché shops, 20 G20s , and 40 Chronodrive. The company says it lists around 2000 products and that it produced €1.2 million in sales in 2020 on a 6-9% commision model.
