Diwala to get $200k from SOSV and Emurgo

Diwala, an Oslo, Norway-based startup developing a blockchain-based identity app, announced securing $200k in capital investment.

The funding was provided by American investors SOSV and Emurgo.

Diwala, founded in 2017 and and led by CEO Thea Sommerseth Myhren, developed a platform for digital identities, credentialing, and verification that enables schools and NGOs to issue skill-based identities, backed by blockchain technology. A skill-ID is a digitally verified record of a person’s educational and work history issued by educational institutions and organizations
