Dream Games in a $255 million Series C led by Index Ventures.
Dream Games, an Istanbul, Turkey-based mobile gaming developer, announced closing series C at $255 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Index Ventures, and joined by Makers Fund, IVP, BlackRock, Kora and Balderton Capital.
The company says the deal values it at $2.75 billion.
The proceeds will be used both to continue investing in and developing Royal Match, and to work on its next launch, which is expected later in 2022.
Dream Games, founded in 2019 by CEO Soner Aydemir, Ikbal Namli, Hakan Saglam, Eren Sengul and Serdar Yilmaz, is working on a first title, Royal Match (on both iOS and Android), launched in March 2021 and in which players are tasked with helping King Robert restore his royal castle “to its former glory” by rebuilding it through a series of match-3 levels and obstacles, with new rooms, royal chambers and gardens making up the different levels of the game. The game is said to be one of the highest grossing mobile games on the market.
Dream Games previously raised $155 million in the summer of 2021, out of a total of more than $210 million.
