Dua raised €1.15 million from angel investors.
Dua, a Zurich, Switzerland-based software startup operating a mobile social network, announced that it secured funding totalling €1.15 million ($1.4M).
The money was raised from angel investors including Christen Oesterbye, Andy Siemers and Sacha Ghiglione.
Dua, founded by Valon Asani and Larklind Cerkezi, developed a mobile app aiming to connect diaspora people in order to facilitate networking, matchmaking, and communication among community members worldwide as well as enable them to conduct transactions. The app is available in 3 languages and has been downloaded by 350k users.
