Ecologi raised £4M in a round led by General Catalyst

Ecologi, a Bristol, UK-based startup building a reforestation and climate action platform, announced the completion of a £4M ($5.6M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by General Catalyst and joined by Entrée Capital.

Ecologi, founded in 2019 by Elliot Coad, Alex Price, Lucy Jack, Ian Hambleton, Robert Belgrave, Alex Myers and Olly Rzysko, developed a subscription service that helps individuals and businesses lower their impact on the climate. The company operates with the goal to rollback 30 years of carbon pollution by directly funding established climate solutions at scale. Eyeing to progress its climate impact exponentially, Ecologi races towards reaching its target to reduce 50% of global emissions by 2040.
