Einride secured SEK 16M from Lärarnas Riksförbund

Einride, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company manufacturing self-driving vehicles, closed a SEK 16M ($1.8M) capital round.

The money was secured via a convertible note from Lärarnas Riksförbund, the Swedish teacher union association, and is part of an ongoing funding raise.

Einride, founded in 2016 by CEO Robert Falck and Filip Lilja, developed T/POD, a truck specifically designed for electric propulsion and autonomous driving.

Prior to this announcement, Einride secured $7.5M in outside capital.
