El Taco Truck announced raising SEK 40 million from investors from Sweden.

El Taco Truck, a Stockholm, Sweden-based producer of Mexican food products, completed a capital raise of SEK 40 million ($4.8M).

The money was raised from local investors from Sweden, including Nicoya and angel investor Fredrik Österberg, who is a co-founder of Evolution Gaming.

El Taco Truck, founded in 2012 by Nikola Adamovic and Niklas Bolle and led by CEO Robert Wranning, started as a mobile restaurant operation selling Mexican food from food trucks. The company also developed a line of their own products, which are sold D2C.
