EMerald Geomodelling added capital investment in the company.

EMerald Geomodelling, an Oslo, Norway-based company providing a solution for reducing geological risk in infrastructure projects, announced that it secured NOK 2.6 million ($284k) in capital investment.

The backers are investors from Norway, namely StartupLab and Akershus Technology Fund

EMerald Geomodelling, founded in 2018 and led by CEO Andreas A. Pfaffhuber, is based on several years of research at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI). By combining geoscanning with machine learning, the company wants to help solve major challenges in infrastructure projects.
