Envirotainer sells 25% of the company to Novo Holdings and private equity firm Cinven.
Envirotainer, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of secure cold chain solutions for the pharmaceutical supply chain, announced that Novo Holdings A/S has agreed to acquire 24.9% of the equity in Envirotainer in partnership with the private equity firm Cinven.
The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.
According to Novo Holdings, the investment in Envirotainer is an interesting opportunity due to the company's market leadership, an attractive market wih a global growth opportunity.
Cinven and Novo Holdings will support Envirotainer’s global growth by developing its technology and expanding its container fleet and global service network.
Envirotainer, led by CEO Michael Berg, develops, manufactures and offers leasing of innovative container solutions, including validation, support and service, for pharma products that require a controlled environment. The company works with 600 customers worldwide and operates through an open, global network of airlines and forwarders, with a portfolio of more than 5,800 leased containers globally.
