European House of Beds was acquired by Capidea.

European House of Beds, a Horsens, Denmark-based beds manufacturer, announced that it entered into an agreement for selling the majority shareholding in the company to the private equity company from Denmark Capidea.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal was made with actual owners - founder, Pia Rasmussen and CEO Kim Rasmussen. Following the deal both will continue as CEO, board members and as significant minority shareholders.

European House of Beds, founded in 2008, manufactures and sells bed chains for retail chains and e- commerce players in Scandinavia. The beds are sold under their own brands or through private labels and collections for customers. The company is most actively in Denmark and Sweden and employs about 75 employees.
