The funding was provided by angel investors such as the Flaconi and Zenloop founders Björn Kolbmüller and Paul Schwarzenholz, Kartenmacherei founder Christoph Behn, and the Lillydoo founders Sven Bauer and Gerald Kullack.

The money will not only be used for expansion, but will also finance the development of new cleaning agent alternatives.

everdrop, founded in 2019 by David Löwe, relies on plastic-free packaged cleanser tablets that you mix yourself at home, in order to reduce household waste. Additionally, the company sells spray bottles that you can reuse for this purpose. The company reports that around 100k customers have ordered the water-soluble tablets so far. Advertising on Instagram has been especially helpful to the company. Everdrop has around 47k followers there now.
