Exeger announced a $30M capital injection from the Swedish pension fund, AMF.

Exeger Sweden AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based solar technology company, announced securing a SEK 277M ($30M) capital investment round from the Swedish pension company AMF.

The investment gives AMF a 6% ownership in the company and aims to diversify their portfolio and increase returns for their investors.

Exeger, founded in 2009 and led by CEO Giovanni Fili, develops and produces novel printable solar cells for use in consumer electronics, smart homes, and other applications. The company, which has about 100 employees, has recently initiated a robotization project to enable fully automated production in its next factory. 

In March 2019 Exeger secured funding from SoftBank Group Corp, while also entering a strategic partnership agreement with the SoftBank subsidiary SB Energy.
