FarmInsect to raise capital funding in a round led by HTGF and Bayern Kapital.

FarmInsect, a Munich, Germany-based company producing automated insect breeding services, announced the completion of a caputa funding round.

The money was raised from investors including HTGF and Bayern Kapital and joined by 5x Ventures, Genea Invest, the initiative for industrial innovators.

FarmInsect, founded in 2020 by Thomas Kuehn, Wolfgang Westermeier and Andre Klöckner, offers farmers a solution for producing insect larvae from harvest residues - including seamless traceability of harvest residues via an IT platform.
