Fenix raises SEK 69 million in a round led by Zaal Management.

Fenix Begravning, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing funeral services, raised SEK 69 million ($6.9M) in equity financing.

The money was raised from Zaal Management and Brightly Ventures.

Proceeds will be used to scale up its operations in the UK, in counties outside of London, where the company has been active since 2021.

Fenix ​​Funeral, founded in 2014 by CEO Charlotte Runius, Mikael Novak and Johannes Ekblad, provides funeral services for the Swedish market. The company offers caring support for funeral planning, probate and will services made easy and affordable online.
