Fleksy raised a €1.3 million series A funding round led by Inveready.

Thingthing, a Barcelona, Spain-based software developer of a private white-label keyboard SDK, announced the completion of a €1.3 million ($1.6 million) Series A round.

The money was raised from investors led by Inveready, joined by its existing shareholders SOSV and Simile Venture Partners. The capital raised will be used mainly to support the exponential growth of the company with new hires and to expand its client portfolio.

Thingthing, founded in 2013 by CEO Olivier Plante, started initially by developing a productivity-focused keyboard. In 2017 it acquired the assets of an US-based custom keyboard developer called Fleksy and started focusing onto Fleksy, an SDK (Software Development Kit) keyboard that helps companies around the world to quickly build a white-label virtual keyboard, for mobile devices, iOS or Android, tablets or other screens incroporating a keyboard. Fleksy allows for complete customization while offering one of the best user experiences. For mobile users, Fleksy has more than 20 million downloads globally. For businesses, the Fleksy Software Development Kit enables customers around the world to offer a keyboard with the highest typing quality for iOS and Android.
