Fodi completed a seed investment round.

Fodi, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company building an ecommerce operation for food delivery, completed a SEK 21.5M ($2.2M) capital investment round.

The funding was provided by founders John Harmander and Patrik Sandberg and Niklas Prager.  According to the Swedish media, this constitues a bridge round, as the company expects to raise SEK 30M more later in the fall of 2019.

Fodi, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Jonas Hammargren, launched in 2018 an online store for grocery deliveries within the city of Stockholm. The operation is yet to be profitable, at a turnover of about SEK 8M ($800k) in 2018.
