Foreseeti AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based software company providing automated threat modeling and attack simulation solutions, announced rasing capital investment totalling SEK 20M ($2M).

The capital round was backed by new and existing investors and money will be used to expand the company's growth ambitions.

In conjunction with the investment, Anders Malmström has been employed as CEO of the company and Joakim Nydrén, co-founder of Foreseeti and CEO during start-up phase, will become a CCO.

Foreseeti, founded in 2014, built securiCAD, a software tool helping IT people assess the resilience and risk exposure of their IT architectures. securiCAD provides a holistic, data-driven security analysis that enables traceable, unbiased decision making, allowing limited resources to be allocated smarter and more efficiently.

Prior to this round, Foreseeti raised about $1M in 2017 from investors including Simon Josefsson, Michael Lantz and KIC InnoEnergy.
