FourthRev announced £2.3M in a round led by Reach Capital

FourthRev, a London, UK-based startup developing a SAAS connecting corporates with university programs, announced the completion of a £2.3M ($3.2M) capital investment round.

The money was raised from investors led by Reach Capital along with existing shareholders Emerge Education and Dunce Capital and angel investors including US education executive Craig Pines and Charlie Songhurst, former Head of Corporate Strategy at Microsoft.

FourthRev, founded in 2019 by Jack Hylands and Omar de Silva, developed a software solution that is connecting leading companies and universities to enable the delivery of up-to-date, industry relevant programs, ranging from micro-credentials through to degree courses.

The company says that it works with tech companies including AWS, GitHub and Tableau, and top universities providing access to programs with qualifications and employment in the digital economy. Currently, FourthRev courses are available via 11 higher educational providers worldwide including University of Coventry and FutureLearn, RMIT, University of Canberra and University of California, Irvine.

FourthRev previously raised some $500k from Dunce Capital and Emerge Education.
