Frontier, a London, UK-based software developer of a recruitment smart tool, announced raising $2.8 million in seed funding.

The money was raised from investors led by NFX, and joined by firstminute Capital, FJ Labs, Cyan Banister, Ilkka Pannanen, Alex Bouaziz and Liquid 2.

Frontier, founded in 2019 by Michael Chiang and CEO Elliot O’Connor, developed and operates a hiring platform intended for the jobseekers to work-from-home. The company uses a process of initial pre-screening the applicants, and then allows them to directly book interviews with the employers, thus saving time and money in the hiring process. Customers include Carrol’s (the largest franchisor of Burger King) and Concentrix.
