Funrock merges operations with Prey Studios.

Funrock, a Stockholm, Sweden-based gaming company, announced getting into an agreement for merging operations with Prey Studios, another gaming studio from Sweden.

The deal, which has the fnancial details undisclosed, was made through a non-cash issue of treasury shares. The CEO of the new entity, which will be called Funrock, will be Stefan Tengvall. Funrock's founder and former CEO, David Wallinder, will remain as consultant of the company.

The new operation will own five gaming titles and 25 employees in two offices: one in Alexandria, Egypt, and one near Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.

Funrock, founded in 2014 by CEO David Wallinder, develops MMO games which are growing in popularity in countries such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Prey Studios, led by CEO Janek Skoglund up to this deal, was founded in 2011 as P Studios AB.
