Future of Retail secured a SEK 8 mllion funding round backed by Wellstreet

Future of Retail, a Stockholm, Sweden-based SAAS developer for the retail and ecommerce companies, announced the completion of a SEK 8M ($930k) capital investment round.

The money was raised from local investors from Sweden, including Wellstreet Ventures.

Future of Retail, founded in 2020 by CEO Ola Levin, developed a software solution for the retailers, handling what they call a consignment risk. That means that the company operates a digital trading platform that handles the payment transactions in the store taking some of the risks of the transaction while getting rewarded with a sales commission.
