Geomiq, a London, UK-based operator of a B2B marketplace for manufacturing services, raised series A equity round closed at $8.5 million

The money was raised from investors led by AXA Ventures, joined by TechNexus Venture Collaborative, Samaipata and Fuel Ventures. Proceeds will be used as the company eyes expansion outside the UK.

Geomiq, founded in 2016 by Sam Al-Mukhtar and William Hoyer Millar, developed a digital marketplace connecting engineers with manufacturers as it streamlines the entire manufacturing process from quote to delivery. The company says it onboarded 300 unique sellers of all sizes, manufacturing over two million parts and handles business for over 3,000 customers worldwide including GE, BMW, Transport for London, and Brompton Bikes.

Geomiq previously raised $4 million in 2021 and other investors include Sova VC, Tekton Ventures, and Eka Ventures.
