Getlife raised €5.5 million in a seed funding round led by French VC firm Singular

Getlife, a Madrid, Spain-based startup building an insurance business, announced completing a €5.5 million ($5.8M) pre-seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the French VC Singular, and joined by angel investors including Chris Adelsbach and Gokul Dhringa.

Getlife, founded in 2017 by Guillermo Alén, is an insurance company sold D2C via the internet, with a dynamic and simple underwriting system for clients, doing contracting in a few minutes, completely online and without the need for medical check-ups. Partners include Axa, CNP Assurance and Asisa Vida.

Getlife previously raised a €1 million pre-seed round in 2021.
