Gobi Stories secures NOK 7 million from Link VC.

Gobi, an Oslo, Norway-based software developer operating a video platform, raised NOK 7 million ($800k).

The money was rasied locally from Norway, from Link Venture Capital.

Gobi was founded in 2015 by Kristoffer Lande (CEO), Kristian Rekstad, Morten Stulen, Lars Erik Fagernæs and Andreas Øgaard from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim and developed a mobile platform that makes it easy to integrate stories into a web page or app. The company initially aimed for the consumer market and then pivoted as a SAAS for businesses, sold as a recruiting tool to customers including Norconsult, DNV GL and Accenture.

Gobi previously raised around $1 million.
