GoSleep Oy receives EUR 1M for product development and international growth.

GoSleep, a Pieksämäki, Finland-based company that manages a sleeping pod manufacturing and renting operation, announced securing of a little more than EUR 1M ($1.23M) in funding.

The money comes as a grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) funding program aimed at innovative European growth companies.

GoSleep Oy, founded in 2011 and led by CEO Jussi Piispanen, develops different solutions that help with relaxation and privacy especially at airports, hospitals and other public spaces. The funding will be used to further develop the company's new product, Iqlooo, a  specially designed, stylish and elegant furniture that can also be converted into a bed.
